D'abord le lauréat du Philip K.Dick Award a été dévoilé. Il récompense chaque année depuis 1983 des ouvrages de science-fiction publiés directement sous la forme de livres de poche, Parmi les lauréats les plus célèbres Ian McDonald, M. John Harrison, Richard Morgan, Richard Paul Russo, China Miéville, Michael Marshall , Stephen Baxter, Robert Charles Wilson, Paul J.McAuley, Tim Powers ou William Gibson. 
 
Le lauréat 2013 est donc Lost Everything de Brian Francis Slattery. A noter que le jury a fait une citation spéciale pour Lovestar de Andri Snær Magnason. 

 
Le prix Hugo
Le prix le plus célèbre en science ficton, c'est bien entendu le prix Hugo. Les nominés viennent d'être dévoilés. Encore une fois du beau monde (et pas mal d'inconnus chez nous). Rendez-vous le 17 août pour connaitre les vainqueurs.
